Research Interests:
I am passionate about utilizing experimental and modeling approaches in environmental science and engineering. Throughout my academic journey, I have explored a wide range of topics, including leachate treatment, solid waste management, electrochemical treatment methods, photodegradation of emerging contaminants, fabrication of photocatalytic membranes, virus detection, and more. What intrigues me most about environmental engineering is the chance to combine creativity and research to protect people and prevent environmental harm. Iām enthusiastic about venturing into new research areas and broadening my knowledge to tackle emerging environmental and health challenges.
Current Research Projects:
Screening and quantification of airborne and surface-associated pathogens in indoor environments
Development of novel molecular and protein-based methods for environmental pathogen detection using ddPCR and ELISA
Development of data visualization and laboratory management dashboards for pathogen surveillance and bioaerosol research projects
Investigation of sample storage and preservation effects on viral nucleic acid and protein stability in environmental samples
Bioaerosol sampling and environmental monitoring for public health applications
